'ALEXA & STRAIGHT GUY WIN THE JUMPER CLASSIC'

Alexa Boggio and 'Straight Guy' topped the field of 29 riders to win the Junior/Amateur Jumper Classic at the Atlanta Spring Classic, held at Olympic International Horse Park in Conyers, GA.

This pair went double clean and had the fasted time of all the competitors, to take the win in the $3,500 Junior/Amateur Classic!  The course was long and well built, which gave the riders a chance to open their horses stride to cover the ground in the big international grand prix ring.  The jump off proved to be quick and efficient, with a couple of tricky combinations throughout.

Best of luck to Alexa and Straight Guy, aka 'Lefty', as they continue the road to the Indoor Finals!

'2012 FTI GREAT CHARITY EVENT!'

It was a fantastic evening under the lights in the International Ring at the Winter Equestian Festival in Palm Beach.  32 teams jump for individual charities and donated over one million dollars total to the pool of charities.

Chase Boggio, Brianne Goutal and Megan McPherson jumped on behalf of the Goodwill Industries which helps to house and feed the homeless.   The speedy fast efforts of these three riders brought them to a third place finish and a donation of $100,000 for their charity.

Alexa Boggio jumped with Kristen Van Der Veen and Brittney Rafolwitsz for the charity of Ronny and Dan's Resue.  Alexa and her thoroughbred jumper Straight Guy, went with lighting speed and had the fastest time for their category.  This group was able to win $10,000 for their charity.

It was a great event and quite exciting for all to watch!

'ALEXA BOGGIO & SS SAN REMO WIN WEF MACLAY!'

Congratulations to Alexa Boggio and her new mount, SS San Remo.  They won the ASPCA Medal Maclay in Wellington, FL, at the WEF, week 2 winter circuit!  It was a large field of 35 riders over a challenging course but Alexa and San Remo answered the questions the course asked the best, that day.

This was Alexa and San Remo's first time together in the show ring. Winning this class qualifies them for the prestigous George Morris Excellence in Equitation class held week 11 of the circuit. Congratulations on a big win and good luck throughout the circuit!

'CHASE BOGGIO & MASSIMO AT THE ASPCA MACLAY FINALS

Chase Boggio wrapped up a stellar junior career with a fourth place finish in the ASPCA Medal Maclay National Finals!  He and Massimo had a beautiful round and solid flat phase which put them in the top group for final testing.  After a confident test, Chase and Massimo finished fourth and ended a fantastic partnership together.

Congratulations to Massimo and his new owner, Anna Eugene, and we wish them a long career with much success!  Good luck in Wellington.

'CHASE BOGGIO & MASSIMO WIN THE WIHS EQ FINALS'

It was a banner day as Chase Boggio clinches the win for the 2011 Washington International Horse Show Equitation Medal Finals on his 10 year old Royal Dutch Warmblood, Massimo!  Chase competed with the top 35 equitation riders in the country, who were all invited to this three phase challenging competition held at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC.

Chase and Massimo proved to be the best of the field tonight.   During the third phase of the competition, the top 10 riders of the first two phases get to switch horses with another of the top 10 riders through a draw.  Haley Barnhill rode Massimo and moved from the third position to second and Chase got to ride Elizabeth Benson's mount, Calito 7.  Chase knows Calito 7, as Calito was his back-up horse for the 2010 finals last year.  Calito 7 and Chase laid down a smooth and accurate trip and Haley was quite impressive on Massimo, as well.

Congratulation to Chase Boggio and Haley Barnhill, for finishing 1st and 2nd but also, we must congratulate Massimo for being named 'Best Equitation Horse', and winning the prestigious 'Lugano Trophy' for the second year in a row at the WIHS.  Massimo was also the horse that Lillie Keenan got switched to in the final round of last year's WIHS Equitation Championship and won!
